1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using DLR Coaching's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use my services. I reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Service Description
DLR Coaching provides online English coaching services including: • One-on-one personalized coaching sessions • IELTS and FCE exam preparation coaching • Business English coaching • Military English coaching • General ESL and fluency improvement coaching • Free placement tests and 15-minute consultations All coaching is delivered online via video call. Session duration, frequency, and content are agreed upon between you and me prior to commencement.
3. Eligibility — Age Requirements and Parental Consent
ADULTS (18+): Any individual aged 18 or over may enroll in DLR Coaching services independently, subject to these Terms. MINORS (UNDER 18): • Individuals under the age of 18 ("minors") may only enroll with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian. • By enrolling a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on behalf of the minor and accepts full responsibility for the minor's participation. • The parent or guardian also consents to the collection and processing of the minor's personal data as described in my Privacy Policy, solely for the purpose of providing coaching services. • Parents or guardians of minors under 13 must provide verifiable parental consent before any data is collected from or about their child. • I reserve the right to verify parental consent and to suspend access if consent cannot be confirmed. SAFEGUARDING: • I am committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students, especially minors. • Sessions with minors are conducted in a professional, transparent manner. A parent or guardian may be required to be present or contactable during sessions. • I follow internationally recognised child safeguarding principles. Any concerns about a minor's welfare will be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with UAE law and applicable international standards. • No session recordings involving a minor will be retained beyond 90 days without explicit parental consent.
4. Pricing and Payment
Current pricing is as published on my website (dlrcoaching.com/pricing) and is subject to change with reasonable notice. Payment arrangements are agreed directly between you and me prior to sessions commencing. Current indicative rates: • Personalised Coaching: from AED 125 per session (1-on-1) • Intensive Programme: from AED 450/month (4 sessions) • Group Coaching: from AED 32 per person per session • Free services: Placement test and 15-minute consultation do not require payment All prices are quoted in AED (UAE Dirhams). No payment is collected through this app — all arrangements are made directly via invoice or bank transfer.
5. Client Responsibilities
By enrolling in DLR Coaching, you (and any parent/guardian enrolling a minor) agree to: • Attend scheduled sessions punctually or provide 48-hour notice for cancellation/rescheduling • Maintain appropriate, respectful behaviour during all sessions • Ensure a safe, appropriate environment for the student during online sessions • Complete assigned homework and independent study tasks • Provide accurate personal information in registration and assessments • Respect intellectual property rights to all course materials Failure to adhere to these terms may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.
6. Safeguarding and Child Protection
I take child safeguarding seriously and operate in accordance with internationally recognised safeguarding principles. • I maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct toward any student, especially minors. • I have a responsibility to report any disclosure of abuse, neglect, or safeguarding concern to the appropriate authorities. • Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to raise any safeguarding concern immediately by emailing info@dlr-coaching.com. • I will cooperate fully with any investigation by authorities regarding the welfare of a student. • I do not facilitate private communication channels with minors outside of scheduled, recorded sessions. These safeguarding commitments apply regardless of the student's nationality, location, or background.
7. Limitation of Liability
DLR Coaching provides coaching services on an "as-is" basis. I do not guarantee specific exam scores, grades, or outcomes. Progress depends on individual effort, prior knowledge, and consistent engagement. I am not liable for: • Inability to attend sessions due to technical or personal issues on your end • Exam results or external assessment outcomes • Indirect or consequential damages • Loss of income or opportunity resulting from service disruption My total liability is limited to the fees paid for services in the preceding 30 days.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by DLR Coaching (lesson notes, handouts, recording transcripts, etc.) are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, sell, or republish these materials without written consent. The DLR Coaching brand, logo, and website design are proprietary and protected.
9. Recording and Privacy
Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and student record-keeping only. Recordings are stored securely and are not shared publicly or with third parties without your consent. You consent to audio and video recording by enrolling in sessions. For sessions involving minors, parental/guardian consent to recording is implicit in the consent to enroll. Parents may request access to or deletion of session recordings at any time. All personal data is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
10. Refund and Cancellation Policy
I want every student to feel confident and supported. Here's how cancellations and refunds work: FREE SERVICES: • The free 15-minute consultation and placement test may be cancelled at any time without penalty. RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION: • You may reschedule or cancel a paid session with at least 48 hours' notice at no cost. • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without any notice, are non-refundable and count as a completed session. • Sessions cancelled between 24–48 hours' notice may be rescheduled once as a courtesy; a second late cancellation in the same billing cycle is non-refundable. PREPAID PACKAGES & BUNDLES: • If you have prepaid for a package or bundle, you may request a refund for unused sessions within 7 days of the original payment date. • Refunds are calculated at the single-session rate for each session already completed, deducted from the total paid. • After 7 days, unused sessions are non-refundable but remain valid for 3 months from the purchase date. MEMBERSHIP: • Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. • You may cancel your membership at any time and your access will continue until the end of the paid period. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES: • I understand that life happens. In cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other extraordinary circumstances, please contact me directly at info@dlr-coaching.com — I will always try to find a fair solution. HOW TO CANCEL OR REQUEST A REFUND: Email info@dlr-coaching.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request" or "Refund Request" and your booking details. I aim to respond within 2 business days.
11. Technical Requirements
You are responsible for maintaining: • A stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended) • A device with audio/video capability (computer, tablet, or smartphone) • Required software (Zoom, Google Meet, or platform specified by DLR Coaching) • A quiet, appropriate, and safe location for sessions I am not responsible for technical failures on your end that prevent session attendance.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: • Share login credentials or session links with unauthorised persons • Record sessions without permission • Engage in harassment, abuse, or disrespectful behaviour toward me or other students • Share, distribute, or publish any session recordings without written consent • Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse any materials or platform • Use the platform for any illegal activity • Engage in or facilitate any form of child exploitation or abuse Violations may result in immediate termination of services, reporting to relevant authorities, and legal action if warranted.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
DLR Coaching services are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that: • Services will be uninterrupted or error-free • Results will meet your expectations • Materials will be free from defects • Your improvement or exam results are guaranteed To the extent permitted by law, I disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DLR Coaching harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: • Your use of my services • Your violation of these terms • Your violation of any law or third-party rights • Claims made by other students or authorities resulting from your conduct
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with my Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DLR Coaching regarding your use of my services. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
